RICS UK Commercial Market Survey (Q2 2011)

Director Tom Holloway and Associate Director Craig Powell of Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell have been quoted in the latest issue of the RICS UK Commercial Market Survey (Q2 2011). This publication is widely read by commercial property investors and occupiers looking to gain an insight into the regional views of RICS Commercial Property Chartered Surveyors in their local region.

Tom Holloway, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell (Portsmouth) said:
“The market remains flat with signs of more activity in the industrial sector. Business Rates are forcing Landlords to soften and agree to weak deals which will further damage the market.”

Craig Powell BSc (Hons) MRICS, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell (Portsmouth) commented:
"Tenants are paying much closer attention to all property costs in addition to just rent and it is important to ensure that properties are being properly managed to ensure service charges provide value for money"
