Hampshire agent Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell has secured 6 Rotherbrook Court, Bedford Road for international banking group, Handelsbanken as the bank prepares to open a new branch on the outskirts of Petersfield town centre.
Retained by Handelsbanken to find a suitable location, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell reviewed a number of potential properties before a shortlist of three were explored in more detail. 6 Rotherbrook Court, located just to the west of Petersfield town centre, was agreed on and Handelsbanken has taken a 10-year lease on 1,500 sq ft with plans to open for business on 31 May 2016.
Handelsbanken has a reputation as one of the world's strongest banks1, with over 850 branches in 25 countries worldwide. During the economic downturn, the bank was still able to more than double its British branch network and now supports customers in 207 communities across the country.
Commenting on the transaction Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell Director, Stuart Mitchell said: “To have a Handelsbanken branch based in Petersfield is good news for the town and we are delighted to have been able to help the bank secure Rotherbrook Court.
