Well Being Centre Opens In Old Portsmouth

Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell are pleased to report the letting of 33 High Street, Old Portsmouth to Salix Health and WellBeing for the use as a Naturopathic Health and Wellbeing Centre with supplementary product sales.

The local Herbalists have taken a new 6-year lease on the 858 sq ft lock-up shop which is located towards the eastern side of the High Street, adjacent to the Cathedral and within walking distance of Gunwharf Quays and Portsmouth Grammar School.

Commenting on the letting, Luke Mort, Commercial Agent at Chartered Surveyors Holloway, Iliffe & Mitchell said:
“There has been a recent demand for premises with a D1 medical use class. This is due to limited availability and the complexities of obtaining necessary planning consent. The property is also located within an affluent area, with all other commercial premises fully occupied, which has increased interest and resulted in another successful letting.

Having just opened its doors in the High Street, Old Portsmouth, Karen Morton of Salix Health and WellBeing Centre spoke highly of Holloway, Iliffe & Mitchell. “We needed a specialist venue to cover our therapy room and wholefoods shop. Luke, was there for all parties facilitating and negotiating at every stage to ensure that the letting completed. We would definitely recommend their services to others.”

Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell remain very active in the commercial property sector, in Portsmouth and along the South Coast and seek new instructions to satisfy their active applicant database.
