A
band of surveyors at Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell have ditched their razors
and have instead embraced a hirsute look for the month of November.
The
Northarbour based firm of Chartered Surveyors and Valuers have signed up for Movember aimed at raising awareness of
prostate and testicular cancer.
Having
recently celebrated 20 years in business the firm are hoping to also take part
in a bid to set a new Guiness World Record for the most people in one place
with a moustache which is being
arranged by students at Solent University in Southampton.
Director
Stuart Mitchell who sported a moustache
in his youth, said:
“By
the end of the month we may look
more like Mexican bandits than surveyors so it’s vital that our clients know that
we’ve signed up for Movember and
hopefully they will take it in good humour”
“Friends,
family and busness contacts of the Mo
Bros and Mo Sistas in the office
have pledged a mountain of cash for
this enormous world wide fund
raising campaign.”
Surveyor
Luke Mort commented:
“When
mooching outside a commercial
building waiting to undertake a viewing I have to make sure that I explain to
applicants the motivation for our
mammoth effort to raise money.”
