Acting on behalf of Hampshire County Council, Hampshire
property advisers Holloway, Iliffe & Mitchell has sold Tilbrook House to local
specialist technology business, InSync Technology.
Located on Grenehurst Way in the centre of Petersfield, Tilbrook
House was originally constructed in the grounds of The Old College in 1994,
designed by award winning architect Nev Churcher MBE. In excess of 4,000 sq ft,
the contemporary office building is InSync Technology’s new headquarters having
moved in recently following extensive refurbishment.
Tilbrook House has many unique features, not least the gates
and railings which were made by local Petersfield blacksmith Steve Pibworth
using slices of recycled oxygen cylinders. A full width veranda at the rear
overlooks the grounds which have Tilmore Brook as a boundary and views across
the lawn towards the historic Old College building.
Established ten years ago, InSync Technology is a successful
and growing business providing product design and manufacturing services to the
broadcast and related markets. InSync is a truly international business with
clients based in North America, Europe and the Far East.
Commenting on the move, Barry Flannaghan, Managing Director
of InSync Technology said:
“With the business having grown substantially in both staff
and production throughput over recent years, the move is not before time. It
will facilitate further expansion of our development team and enhancements to
our manufacturing processes and at more than double the size of our previous Dragon
Street offices, Tilbrook House will provide an ideal springboard for future
growth.”
